Covid-19 Information for our Visitors

Latest Update – 18th December 2021

Key Points

When visiting please follow Government Guidelines at all times.

In line with Scottish government guideline face masks remain mandatory within indoor public buildings. Children under aged 12 are not required to wear face coverings. Additionally other exemptions apply.

Please social distance. This means keeping 2 metres apart from those outside your household. This is important to keeping all our visitors and staff safe during your visit.

We do not operate dated tickets or time slots for admission, so you may arrive at a time that suits. At peak arrival times (between 11:30am and 14:00pm) there may be a need to queue outside if the aquarium capacity has been reached.

Deep Sea World – Our Safety Measures

The health and safety of our visitors and team is our number one priority.

We have retained a reduced capacity limit, a one way system and hygiene screens are still in place for most of your journey around the aquarium.  Please adhere to the system and be considerate of those in front and behind you, this will assist in preventing crowding in certain areas within the aquarium.

There are some areas where we have two way pedestrian traffic, we kindly ask that you pause before entering these areas if they are already occupied or others are coming in the opposite direction.

There are sanitising stations throughout the aquarium. Please utilise these and we ask that children are supervised while using the machines. If you prefer not to use sanitiser, you can always use our toilet facilities to wash your hands.

Enhanced cleaning measures are in place with periodic inhouse cleaning of touch points throughout the operational day.
